At Weber Advertising & Marketing, we’re always excited to nurture rising talent, and this season, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on one of our standout interns: Anghy.

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Anghy’s journey is rooted in determination, creativity, and a strong passion for marketing. She earned her Associate’s degree in Business Administration from HACC and is currently pursuing a Marketing degree at Millersville University. When she’s not immersed in design or strategy, you’ll likely find her crafting or unwinding with a good family sitcom.
During her time at WAM, Anghy has contributed to a variety of creative projects—but one in particular stands out. Her favorite? Designing a mock-up for Landis Market’s catering van. This van wrap project pushed her creativity and technical skills to a new level, especially in understanding how designs adapt to real-world surfaces.
“It was a transformative experience,” she said, “especially when it came to learning how Photoshop designs translate from screen to structure.”
Beyond the technical side of things, Anghy has gained valuable insight into one of the core pillars of effective design: layout.
“Sometimes you have all the right elements, but if they aren’t organized correctly, people won’t understand what you’re trying to sell,” she explained.
Through her collaboration with Art Director Tony Roda, Anghy has learned practical tips that guide her evolving design philosophy—like Tony’s now-favorite phrase:
“When in doubt, put it in a box.”
This simple advice has shaped how she approaches visual hierarchy, grouping elements in clean, intentional ways that help viewers absorb key information quickly and clearly.
Looking ahead, Anghy dreams of launching her own beverage or food packaging business, where she can combine her love of branding, design, and entrepreneurship into something uniquely hers.
We’re grateful to have had Anghy on the WAM team and can’t wait to see what she creates next. One thing’s for sure—she’s just getting started.
